About Barry G Technologies Broadcast Engineering
Be it small productions, large remotes, corporate events, a Broadway or Opera stage, or an arena installation or event – Barry has wealth of broadcast, live events, and corporate event experience.
How can he be your LIVE event / broadcast “Technology Concierge”?
Helping bridge the divide broadcast, live events engineering divide to create flawless events is what drives Barry.
Barry started out as a “storyteller” in high school – photographing sports as well as other events.
While attending college in Washington, DC, the “news bug” hit Barry hard – seeing history unfold in the nation’s capital, leading to documenting breaking news and special events for years to come.
After graduation, Barry spent some time in print before transitioning to broadcast news. The mid-1980s saw the transition from camera work to ENG maintenance and field production.
Moving back into the New York City area in the late 1980s, Barry was introduced to corporate events and then theatrical production. As “they say,” the rest is history.
